“Electrification and automation were key themes at bauma 2019 - at the fair Doosan showcased as the first manufacturer to use 5G technology for global 'TeleOperation' of construction, mining and quarrying machinery. This technology could be experienced live for the first time at bauma. As a result, we received numerous enquiries and leads. Customer discussions about the use of the technology in the mining sector and in various other applications are still ongoing. From our product range, the new Stage V-compliant 30-tonne DX300LC-7 crawler excavator and two new articulated dump trucks (ADTs), the DA30-7 (30 tonne) and DA45-7 (41 tonne) were introduced at bauma. All of these products have since achieved significant sales success worldwide.´
